of sales and marketing experience makes all the difference when Mark Jerusalem represents home buyers and sellers and negotiates on their behalf. After graduating from the University of Florida, Mark’s experience in sales began at the iconic airline renowned for its slogan “You Can’t Beat the Experience” – Pan Am. He then went on to develop his expertise in sales management at various international airlines. With a proven background in sales, Mark transitioned his career to selling homes and for 14 years has represented buyers and sellers throughout Los Angeles. Mark began his real estate career at Coldwell Banker in Beverly Hills before joining Sotheby’s International Realty in Pasadena. He is now based at deasy/penner&partners.
Mark’s international background
has influenced him both professionally and personally. Mark’s first language was German and he holds dual American and German citizenship as his parents moved to the United States a few years before he was born. As a teenager, he lived in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia and attended a boarding school in Salzburg, Austria. During college Mark received a scholarship to study in Mannheim, Germany. Having earned a Master in International Business, Mark brings a professional understanding to the business of real estate, including expertise in marketing, finance and economics. Mark is passionate about home design and restoration as well as architecture and travel.
